Okay, okay, I have a Honda 600RR and a Suzuki M50, plus many others over the last few decades. I'll admit to some European and American bikes in there too.

My only Japanese bike was a red 1966 Honda S90. I used to jump it over dirt piles at local construction sites. The foot pegs weren,t up to the landing though as I had to bend them back into positon after each ride. Fun though!. Saw one just like in the Barber Museum. In fact, you can see any bike that you have owned in the Barber Museum. They have over 700 bikes on display at any one time. Saw my ducatis there too.

SRX250, FZ600, Ninja ZX750, ZX600 & EX500, CBR600F2 and CBR900RR. I put more miles on the CBR900RR than all other bikes combined.

I thought it would be fitting for my first post to be on the Jap bike thread since my first bike was a Japanese make, as I'm sure most of us started out riding on a bike from Japan as well.

My first bike was an '00 Gixxer 750 (yellow). This was the bike I essentially learned how to ride on. I rode that bike for 6 years and then sold it for an '06 Gixxer 750. LOL!

3 months after I bought the '06 Gix I added a second bike to the stable, an '06 HONDA RC-51 SP2.

After test riding a 749 dark, a 999 (two times at Brea Ducati), and an MV Agusta at Pro Italia (two times as well, LOL!), I fell in love with the feel and handling of the Italian engineered bikes. The Italians have a way with designing a motorcycle chassis that no one else can duplicate. I LOVE IT!!! So, I had no choice but to pony up for an '02 748R that I bought through Brea Ducati without any hesitation. Best motorcycle buying experience I've had to date, and my 748R is the most exciting bike to ride over all my other rides.

I've also recently bought an '07 Suzuki M109R Boulevard. I thought that after 3 sportbikes it was time to get myself a cruiser so when I saw the M109R in blue sitting on the showroom floor I just couldn't resist. Laughing

I'm holding out to buy one more bike either this year or next year and its definitely gonna be Italian. Cool
